It Feels So Write!
A Whole Body Creative Writing Workshop

Open to all levels and genres of writing including new writers.

This playful writing workshop is an invitation to get out of your head and gently move your writing practice deep into the entirety of your being. Stop merely thinking your way into writing and join us in experiencing full-bodied creativity through simple yet profound writing and body re-connecting exercises, some of which include gentle movement. Exercises designed to bring awareness to your connection with the present. When we write awakened to the fullness of life, writing guides us. And, off we go into the place of all things anew. Come explore writing without strain. Come explore whole-bodied writing.

This workshop will also touch upon embodied reading, both private and public (including how to use the energy of shaky hands and knees).

This is NOT a critique workshop. Sharing work is voluntary.

Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in
and bring a notebook and something to write with.

To arrange a group workshop (minimum 6 participants) or to be notified about upcoming workshops please email:

After much thought, I realized that the trouble I had writing that bleak Friday afternoon was due to my approach. I was trying to analyze … trying to explain rationally … I was failing miserably because I was approaching the task through my head … I had to drop into my belly.
